Alpha acid: 17,5-19,5%

Beta acid: 3.3-4.3%

Co-humulone (% of alpha acids): 26-33%

Use: Mainly bittering but can also be used for aroma. American Pale Ales, IPA och DIPA 

This variety was developed around year 2000, it belongs to the "Super Alpha" class with a high alpha to beta ratio. Powerful bittering if early kettle addition but can also be used later in the kettle. Strong citrus, tangerine, orange aromas. Summit is a semi-dwarf variety, the first of its kind originating in the United States.
