Oats are difficult to malt and crush efficiently but their contribution to certain speciality ales is significant. Oats are rich in oils and tend to promote a velvety texture in beer. Oat malt enhances the body and flavour of Stouts, Porters and Dark beers including your favourite winter warmers.
This malt is ready crushed and has a colour of 2-5 EBC.
