Delivery and Returns

Delivery costs are based on the weights of the goods, regardless of the quantity of items purchased.  The weights are calculated automatically and include packaging.  When you check out, the postage cost is allocated according to the weight of the goods and the postcode/country of the delivery address.  WE NOW OFFER DELIVERY WORLD WIDE, SO PLEASE SELECT YOUR COUNTRY AT THE CHECKOUT FOR A COMPREHENSIVE POSTAL PRICE. (If your Country is not on the list, please e mail us via the contact us page and we will add your Country to the list)

It's always easier for the couriers if an alternative address/instructions are given to aid delivery.  This could be simply, "Please leave with neighbours", or "Please leave in the porch", etc etc.  The extra instructions can be given via the additional info box on the checkout page and may save a delayed delivery due to not being at home.  If instructions are given for leaving in a secure place without a signature, then the goods will not be covered by the Carriers insurance.

Disclaimer As we sell goods from both the Garden Centre and by prior arrangement, there is a lag time from selling the goods to updating the stock levels on the web site.  This has happened a couple of times and we would ask for patience when this happens.  You will be notified as soon as the fault becomes apparent, normally by e mail.  So for this reason, we would ask that the e mail and telephone number supplied are current and checked on a regular basis.  Please see the Stock Levels under the terms and conditions for any specifics.  Some customers like to compile an order over a few weeks.  If this is the case, then some goods may well sell out before the order is confirmed.  It is always best to update your basket and double check the stock availability prior to purchasing.

Orders received before 12.00 midday will be dispatched the same day if possible.  



Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm (excluding Bank Holidays).  If you would like an earlier delivery, or a Saturday delivery, please choose from the options on the basket and/or the checkout pages.  Parcels under 2Kg are not tracked or insured, if you would like a track and trace with insurance for weights under 2Kg (Royal Mail), please select from the options.

Up to 100g  1st Class £1.30 (Large Letters, max thickness 25mm)

100g - 1Kg £3.40 (Small parcels)

1Kg - 2Kg £4.90 (Large parcels)

2kg - 30Kg - £6.95 (Next day couriers) 

 £6.95 for each 30Kg, or part of, thereafter. 


up to 1Kg - Royal Mail - Packets (Typically 48 hours) 

1Kg - 30Kg - £29.50 (Typically 48 hours - Courier)

£29.50 for each 30Kg or part of thereafter

 NI, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly

up to 2Kg - Royal Mail - First Class Packets (Typically 48Hrs) 

2Kg - 30Kg - £13.75 - 48 Hour service

£13.75 for each 30Kg or part of thereafter

Inside the EU

A surcharge for a track and trace/signed for delivery is available from the drop down box on the basket/checkout pages.  Please note, the track and trace service is only available in certain Countries.

2Kg - 32Kg - POA

Outside the EU/Rest of the world

Pay Pal is not available in some countries, in this case, payment can be taken via the telephone or via e mail.  Your card details will be entered in the swipe machine then destroyed.  Please contact us if you wish to make a payment this way.  If your country does not appear in the drop down box, then please contact us.

Over 1Kg - POA

We have set the postage at a set rate for all orders over 1Kg in weight, this is so that we can find the most economical postage at the time of ordering.  Please e mail for a quotation on postage rates at the time of ordering.  If we can find a cheaper alternative to our usual carriers, then we will refund the difference back via the Pay Pal method of payment.

Customer Collections

Customers can collect goods from our shop at Bosworth's Nurseries and Garden Centre.  Simply select the 'customer collect' option from the delivery drop down box on the checkout page and a 'zero' postage will be allocated. 

We can take payment for goods on collection, either cash or credit card.  Send an e mail with your order details, name and a contactable phone number, to sales@copperkettlehomebrewing.co.uk and we will have your order ready for the specified time.
